Assessment and Planning Services

Support for Assessment, Planning, and Accreditation

Our staff has assessment backgrounds that have led successful assessment initiatives at their own campuses. EAP consultants can help you plan and implement actions that meet your goals for assessment and improvement.

The best approach for developing high quality and useful assessments is to keep the goal of improving student learning as the lens for developing, evaluating, and implementing all aspects of outcomes assessment. A high quality outcomes-based assessment system developed for the purpose of documenting student learning provides reliable information for improved learning while also meeting accreditor’s expectations. We can help your faculty and staff engage in developing robust outcomes and assessments.

Inadequate Assessment is the Most Common in Problem that Colleges Face in Meeting Compliance Standards

Following accreditation visits, institutions are receiving an unprecedented number of adverse sanctions that include being placed on warning and/or probation.  The follow-up processes and visits after accreditation reviews are disruptive and expensive in terms of money and faculty/staff time. We can provide the kind of help you need by reviewing existing practices, identifying needs, and facilitating needed improvements prior to, or following an accreditation visit.
