Areas of Expertise

Consulting

EAP provides experienced consulting to help your college plan and implement actions to meet your goals for assessment, improvement, and accreditation.

Institutional effectivenss Planning

An Institutional Effectiveness Plan consists of three types of planning: the Strategic Plan, Operational Plan, and Learning Outcomes Assessment Plan. A well integrated Plan is vital for meeting accreditation demands and for making real continuous improvement. Let us partner with you to facilitate excellence in all of your planning needs.

Assessment

We have the expertise to evaluate your whole assessment system and hone in on specific areas of concern. EAP offers help in all aspects of preparing accreditation and reaffirmation reports, and self-studies. We can help identify areas for improvement and assist in collecting and analyzing data and developing processes for improvement.

Professional development

Professional Development isn’t a one-time thing. It should be part of continuous improvement where college employees are provided opportunities to constantly assess and improve their skills in assessment, teaching, and supporting student learning.  There is no substitute for face-to-face events.  Engage with experts, get answers to your questions, improve assessment efforts, and develop best practices, practical insights, and assessment skills.

Data Collection and analysis

EAP can also help identify the data needed, including: surveys, interviews, focus groups, environmental scans, gap analyses, and audits and evaluations of current practices and programs. Our staff can guide institutions to take the kind of steps they need to devise excellent assessment systems that will meet accreditation standards of compliance.

accreditation

EAP understands the challenge in preparing for accreditation and reaffirmation reviews and the burden that the process places on institutions, their faculty, and staff. For that reason, EAP is pleased to offer accreditation review auditing and consulting services for colleges and universities.

EAP team members will guide your institution through the assessment and continuous improvement work necessary to develop systems and processes that meet accreditation standards and real improvements.

EAP also provides consultation to institutions facing accreditation actions for failure to properly document and report that they are meeting standards.

Our specialists will help your institution develop or improve relations with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Higher Learning Commission, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the Northwest Commission on Colleges or Universities, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. EAP consultants also work with national accreditors such as the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC)

We will help you meet the demands of regional and national accreditors through mission and strategy assessment, policy audits, gap analyses, documentation of processes and procedures, process development, and assistance with preparation of self-studies and related reports

EAP can assist your institution in all aspects of assessment and accreditation, including:

  • Preparing for an upcoming accreditation/reaffirmation review through a comprehensive accreditation audit.
